Have you heard of the rule of three?

The rule of three says that things arranged in odd numbers are more appealing, memorable, and effective than even-numbered groupings.
What is it about the odd numbers? Apparently, it’s how our brains work. Three is the smallest number that can be used to form a pattern in our heads. When we see an odd number of things, our eyes move around more, which makes for a more interesting visual experience.
So there you have it, it’s easy to be odd - be it pillows, grouping candles, vases and books; or artwork and lighting - it’s balanced and aesthetically pleasing in odd numbers.
Go ahead, group some of our vases and candle holders for a visual experiment! Find the collection HERE.
